Domaine des Crêtes

Domaine des Crêtes is a wine estate set on the first hills of the Mont du Beaujolais range, in the south-eastern zone of the Pays des Pierres Dorées (golden stone country), where the soil is limestone-clay.
Here, we craft red and rosé Beaujolais, as well as white Beaujolais and Crémant de Bourgogne from 1.3 hectares (2.5 acres) planted with Chardonnay vines.

Jean-François Brondel is a Beaujolais vinegrower-winemaker whose skills and know-how were gifted to him by the generations that came before him. He works in partnership with Martine, his wife and Sylvain, his son. Together, they look forward to affording you a warm welcome on their estate.

  • From Monday to Friday from 5 to 7 p.m.
  • Saturday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. non-stop
  • Closed on Sundays and French public holidays except by appointment.

Domaine des Crêtes

It was in 1938 that François Brondel acquired all the buildings, his son Robert developed the culture of the vineyard and his grandson Jean-François made the reputation of Brondel wines. Sylvain representing the 4th generation chose to become involved in the family business in 2007 and decided to convert the farm into BIO from 2019.
