The tasting cellar at Domaine des Crêtes
Used as a stable in the time of François, Jean-François’ great-grandfather, this is where his horse was stabled, alongside the cows Jean-François’ great-grandmother, Denise, looked after.
Robert, François’ son, bought a straddle tractor to replace the horse for work in the vineyards.
Tired, Denise stopped raising cattle. The stable became a wine storage room.
Jean-François and Martine decided to start selling their wines direct from the estate and started to convert the old stable into a tasting cellar.
Sylvain and his father, Jean-François, rendered the walls and made a few modifications, including that of the counter.
Today, you can find all our available cuvées in our tasting cellar. If you would like to come and taste them, we are open from Monday to Friday from 5 to 7 p.m. on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and by appointment on Sundays and French public holidays.
